Research-ready 4 mm frozen HS punch biopsies provide disease-relevant human tissue for molecular, biochemical and tissue-based research of HS.

Frozen HS tissue can be used for gene expression analysis, molecular profiling, biomarker discovery, protein analysis, histology, immunohistochemistry and pathway characterization, supporting the investigation of disease biology and mechanisms of inflammation.

Tissue variability: HS tissue may exhibit natural variation in morphology and disease characteristics between donors. This variability is inherent to human disease tissue and should be considered when designing experiments.

Please note that modifications to orders can only be accepted within 48 hours of placement and will incur a 10% fee.

Please note that our skin models are prepared with skin samples obtained with the informed consent of donors and in compliance with the Declaration of Helsinki and all other applicable regulations.

Every order contains:

  • The ordered amount of frozen HS skin biopsies.
  • A QA/QC lot release certificate with donor information (age, gender, skin type, anatomical site).

Donor Restrictions:

HS tissue availability is limited and depends on the surgical specimens received. As a result, donor-specific requests or customization of donor characteristics cannot be accommodated in most cases.

Multiple Donors:

Genoskin’s network of hospitals and surgeons allows us to access enough skin tissues to provide you with multiple donors.

As we cannot guarantee a multiple donor delivery on the same day, handling and shipping fees apply per donor.

Delivery:

Frozen HS skin biopsies are shipped on dry ice. They are packed in a specially designed box that can be shipped by express airfreight. The box is thermally insulated and shock-resistant.

The expected delivery day will be communicated to your team at least 48 hours in advance.

Cancellation Policy:

Modifications to orders can only be accepted within 48 hours of placement and will incur a 10% fee.
