Research-ready FFPE HS tissue blocks provide disease-relevant human tissue for histological, immunohistochemical and biomarker research in hidradenitis suppurativa (HS).
FFPE HS tissue can be used with a broad range of staining techniques and antibodies compatible with formalin fixation and paraffin embedding, supporting the study of HS tissue architecture, inflammatory features, biomarker expression and the distribution of epidermal and dermal markers.
Ideal for: histological assessment, immunohistochemistry (IHC), immunofluorescence (IF), biomarker analysis, tissue morphology studies, target and pathway characterization, and other tissue-based research applications.
Tissue variability: HS tissue may exhibit natural variation in morphology and disease characteristics between donors. This variability is inherent to human disease tissue and should be considered when designing experiments.

Please note that FFPE HS Tissue Blocks are prepared with skin samples obtained with the informed consent of donors and in compliance with the Declaration of Helsinki and all other applicable regulations.
HS tissue availability is limited and depends on the surgical specimens received. As a result, donor-specific requests or customization of donor characteristics cannot be accommodated in most cases.
Genoskin’s network of hospitals and surgeons allows us to access enough skin tissue to provide you with FFPE HS Tissue Blocks from multiple donors.
To order models from multiple donors, you can refer to this brief tutorial video that guides you through the ordering process to order multiple donors: Genoskin tutorial: How to order multiple donors
As we cannot guarantee a multiple donor delivery on the same day, handling and shipping fees apply per donor.
